BEST COMEDY - NZ TELEVISION AWARDS 2024 !

 

Back in 2015 I made a live sketch comedy show for the NZ Int Comedy Festival with Jackie van Beek and Jesse Griffin, both top shelf comedians. In it was a sketch where I played my primary school head master trying to explain how to fill out an exam paper. I always found my teachers to be confusing, lost and angry. It wasnt his fault I couldnt understand him, many of us struggle with learning and focus. I certainly did. We made this little sketch show into the TV series EDUCATORS. This week we won Best Comedy! This journey blows my mind! One reason is that this show is mostly improvised, the dialogue is made up as the cameras roll, my dream process!

THE OFFICE - AUSTRALIA

In June/July this year My buddies and I made THE OFFICE AUSTRALIA! It is the 3rd English speaking version of The Office. Did you know there are 13 versions internationally? 10 are non English speaking. Ours is the first with female leads! We had a lot of fun, I played a kiwi living in Australia. That's all I can say until it is released in May, 2024 in UK and Australia.
