BIOGRAPHY

JONNY BRUGH

Jonny Brugh is an actor, comedian, writer, artist, and producer from New Zealand.

 

Born in Wellington, he currently resides in Auckland, but makes frequent media appearances in Australia and the United States.

 

Jonny made a big splash as sexy vampire Deacon in the hit film What We Do In The Shadows. He is also known for his work in the television shows The Jaquie Brown Diaries, 800 Words, and the forthcoming Educators, for which he is also a co-creator and writer. Previously, he was part of award-winning comedy duo Sugar & Spice alongside Jason Hoyte, and also frequently collaborates with Jackie van Beek, most notably in the sketch performance Flashdunce.

 

Jonny is proudly a Taurus born in the year of the dog. He enjoys fitness, cooking, playing cricket, kayaking around the New Zealand coast.
